The world polymer consumption is expected to reach 285M Tonnes by 2017, with PE accounting for the largest share of increase.

China is and will continue to be the world’s largest market for polymers with annual consumption of about 60m Tonnes.

India’s consumption of plastics is expected to grow from 15M tones to 20M tones by 2018.
